The ATRIUM residential elevator, or Homelift, is now avaialable direct from Acorn Stairlifts.
The ATRIUM lift is compact and affordable, and will comfortably transport up to 3 people, or 2 people with a wheelchair, over 3 levels.
The unique design of the ATRIUM means that no structural shaft is required, saving thousands in the cost of deep excavations and structural steel frameworks. The powerful and quiet electric motor drive system avoids the need for costly and messy hydraulics, or complicated and expensive traction drives.
Our non-structural shaft enclosure and slick but simple installation process means that we can achieve the fastest installation times. Only 3 or 4 days work on site will have your home elevator up and running. bevause the ATRIUM is fully Australian manufactured, delivery times are only a few weeks with nothing imported from Europe or China to extend lead times.
New build properties can easily include the lift shaft at the design stage, perhaps to be used initially as a closet, so that a lift can easily be installed later. Just ask for the builders drawings for sizes and dimensions. With a footprint of only around 1.5m x 1.2m, the space is easily accommodated.
The ATRIUM lift is as easily installed in an existing home. A brief visit from our experienced surveyors will allow us to identify and agree a suitable location, and to explain in detail how we will proceed, and how the lift will work.
Operation of the ATRIUM is fully automatic, and as you will expect, all aspects of comfort and safety have been taken care of. The ATRIUM is designed, manufactured and installed to the exacting requirements of AS1735-16.
